Supporting Conversations on Teaching
Time-coded video segments were combined with online resources, lesson plans, teacher reflections and samples of student work to expand the view of the classroom and to help make the standards, classroom management practices and teaching pedagogy visible to new teachers.
New teacher support providers were able to use the online discussion feature and tasks developed inside the program to extend new teachers' thinking about their own practice. Time-coded video segments provide concrete examples to spur discussion.
Any pre-intern or intern in a TLI participating program was able to register for these courses. When a support program was not a member of our partnership, the local program director contacted us for more information on how to join the TLI.
